HOME > The Nuremberg Talesfeat. Lord Joao and Sir Antti Good morrow, most beloved brethren! As tidings may have spread by word of mouth throughout the immeasurable Empire of ELSA, a truly magnific delight is imminent right in the heart of Alemannia... or quite near it, at least :-) Common parlance knows it as "ICM". Excited by curiosity, two Masters of ELSA have set out to discover what secrets the "ICM" holds. Thus they saddled their horses and headed for Nuremberg on the last weekend of the seventh month. There, they encountered a group of folks known as "the OC" and its chief, Giovanni. Now, reputable Reader, sit still and listen to the story they have to tell... This, as you are well aware, is Lord Joao, late Master of ELSA.
Quite evidently, he is in a state of delight. But - hark! - it is not caused by the jug of apple must in the clench of his fist! Well, maybe it is. BUT Lord Joao hath also just seen something much more intriguing: ELSA castle.
A bold stronghold it is, ...
... a grandiose mansion, ...
... a most glamorous castle ...
... in short: the finest edifice within the realms of ELSA! Come ye enter this momentary homestead of noblemen... Behold the residential quarter:
See where brave Knights and fair Ladies wine and dine:
Look upon the place (on a par with King Arthur's round table) where the precious few rule over ELSA's bright future:
(These magnificent halls have seen many a feast and served the stage of quite a few scandals throughout history. Will they evidence a couple more before the year is through? :-) Lastly, a most misterious chamber gets in our way. It shall house the humble servants to the Empire known as "OC".
Let us conclude our tour of the building. We have yet disregarded a noble gentleman. The new Master of ELSA, Sir Antti, hath gone astray. But here he is:

... and might!
Finally, evening falls and Sir Antti inspects venues fit for Kings... and just about adequate for ELSA kin!
Lo and behold! Here we meet Lord Joao again. He is enchanted by olden Germanic handicraft. But just how are these to be used? ;-)
Meanwhile, back at ELSA castle, the "OC" was working hard. Now, they join their Masters Lord Joao and Sir Antti at the Nuremberg Hofbrauhaus – "Brothers, drown the sorrows you are - alas! - not having"... in, say, ale!
'Tis late when the whole company returns home...
... yet how marvellous a sight strikes our eyne...
... before finally everyone rests their heads on silken pillows in luxurious canopy beds! (Alright: 'twas a lie, so no pictures of that ;-)
After a refreshing night of sleep, Lord Joao and Sir Antti depart early the next morrow.
Yet their promise to the keeper of the castle, the venerable Giovanni, is austere: "We shall return in no time. Fare thee well!"
